Back of Birdhouse

”I’m gonna smash my way out thats all
cried the bird and smashed from wall to wall”
-Bird in a House, Railroad Earth
This photo was taken while on a walk around my neighborhood. This 50mm prime lens was a new addition to my camera bag at the time and this was a study in bokeh, as well as seeing how sharp the lens performs while wide open. The result was a fairly sharp foreground object and a background of creamy, soft bokehliciousness. Not bad for what is probably Canon’s most affordable lens.
