Fading Reflections

This photo was taken at Clinton Lake on January 4, 2015. I got out to the lake a little later than desired and missed the sunrise. The sun was really bright and the reflections from the snow and ice made photographing somewhat difficult for what I was attempting, so I decided to mute the colors quite a bit. I dropped the contrast and added a soft glow in the upper left corner. I feel the result is a classic, aged looking photo. It makes me feel like thinking back on the past, reflecting on what has faded.
